See each account two ways at once: what's in it now, and where it's heading once your bills run. Let's set it up — about two minutes.
Private & encrypted — your numbers are never shared or sold. Privacy policy
Start with one — your current account. Add as many as you like.
Encrypted and private — your figures stay yours.
Add your income first, then your regular bills — the more you add, the more accurate Buiséad gets.
Add a recurring bill or log something you've just spent — or jump straight in.

Where you should be. Where you are.
What's the bill for?
Pick the closest one to get going — you can rename it and change every detail after. Nothing's set in stone.
Moves money between your accounts — logged as done on both sides.
Changes just this one — the rest of the schedule stays as it is.
Tap a bill, fill it in, and it's saved — add as many as you like.
Slide along the line to see any day — what you'll have, and what's due.
Every account shows two numbers. Now is your real balance — only money you've actually paid. Heading to is where you'll land once every upcoming bill and payment has run. Keeping "now" matched to your real bank balance is the whole game — log what you spend and the two stay honest.
Add your account with today's real balance, then add all your regular bills — electricity, rent, subscriptions, the lot. Already have them in a spreadsheet? Tap Add → Import from a spreadsheet (CSV, Excel or even a screenshot), answer a few quick questions, and the whole list lands in one go. The more you put in, the more accurate everything gets.
A bill is something scheduled — recurring (rent, Netflix) or a one-off that's coming up. An expense is something you've already spent — logged as paid today so your balance instantly matches your bank.
The card under your accounts shows what's free to spend up to your next payday: what's in the account now, plus money due in, minus the bills due in between. If the bills outweigh the lot, it flips to a red "€X short" warning.
Tick a bill paid as it leaves your account. Anything still unpaid after its date collects under a red Overdue heading at the top of your list, so nothing slips through.
Change the amount or how often it runs and Buiséad asks how far to apply it: just this one, the next few, or all future ones. Deleting asks the same question — just that payment, or the whole bill and everything still to come (paid history stays in Past). And in Settings → My bills, each bill has a quick switch for whether it moves to the next working day when it lands on a weekend or bank holiday.
The Analytics view plots your combined balance over the next 12 weeks. Any day it looks set to dip below zero is flagged as a pinch point, with a heads-up so you can move a bill or top up before it bites. Tap the chart to open it full size — slide your finger along the line to see your balance on any day and exactly what's due that day.
Add a contract-end date to a bill and Buiséad reminds you about a week before it renews — with a link to compare prices on switcher.ie, so you can switch instead of rolling onto a dearer rate.
Switch the list to Calendar for a month view: red dots are money going out, green dots money coming in, and days shaded red are pinch points. Tap a day to see what's due.
Scan a bill or receipt and Buiséad reads the amount, date and vendor for you; import a whole spreadsheet; get insights on your own numbers. You get 100 free credits a month — a scan or insight uses 1, a spreadsheet import 5. Unlimited comes with Pro, and nothing is ever sent to the AI unless you use these features.
Turn on bill reminders in Settings for a 9am heads-up on the day a bill is due, plus a warning before a pinch point.
Your figures are encrypted and never sold, and you can delete everything yourself any time. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
Buiséad is built so your finances stay yours. We never sell your data, never show ads, and never share it for marketing — ever.
The sensitive things you enter — amounts, names, notes, account & contact details, custom fields and receipt photos — are encrypted at rest with AES-256 (bank-grade). If anyone ever got hold of the raw database, those fields are scrambled and unreadable without the key.
We only keep a one-way Argon2id hash of your password — never the password itself. Even we can't read it, and a leak can't reveal it. Repeated wrong guesses are rate-limited to stop brute-forcing.
Everything between your phone and our server travels over HTTPS, so it can't be read on the way. Sign-in uses a secure token, not your password, on every request.
AI features (scanning a bill, insights) only send data to our AI provider when you choose to use them — to answer your request, never to train their models. Turn AI off and nothing is ever sent.
Delete any bill, receipt or account whenever you like — and you can wipe your entire account and all its data from Settings at any time. Gone means gone.
All of this in legal form is in our Privacy Policy. Questions? hello@buisead.ie.
